Based on its technology background IKON realized the new WSW system which main features are: the reversible key-system, whichever way you insert the key the WSW key always fits ; the modual design, the cylinder length can be quickly and simply adapted to changing conditions on site.
The Key in reversible-key system is sensed by pin tumblers (core and casing pins) which are centred in the lock cylinder, as well as by finger pins installed on the sides of the lock cyilinder core. Operation of the lock is not possible until the key profile has been successfully sensed by the core and finger pins. This means greatly enhanced protection against opening with similar keys and against lock-picking.
